The George Marshall Medical Museum in Worcester houses a collection of objects illustrating the way that medicine and health care has developed over the past 250 years. Many of the objects have been donated by local people, the vast majority donated by Dr. George Marshall, a surgeon in the area for many years. Worcester is riddled with important events in medical history, not least the claim to fame of having the British Medical Association founded in our very own Castle Street Infirmary in 1832. Visitors to the Museum can have a look at our reconstructed apothecary shop and operating theatre, and listen to the audio guide and excerpts from our oral history collection. We also have an interactive touch-screen computer display. And of course, the death masks...
