Work experience

The museum is now registered by the LEA as a place of work for year 10 work experience students. We currently have one placement booked for one week in July 2009, but are happy to consider other applications for alternative dates.

The museum is also able to accept students at any age who wish to gain experience of voluntary work with museum collections. We are able to offer intensive periods of up to two weeks, or spread the placement over a number of weeks or months. We are currently only open during normal working hours, but are able to remain open in evenings or at weekends if this is more convenient. Contact the Curator for more information.
