Work experience

The museum is now registered by the LEA as a place of work for year 10 work experience students. We have also previously accepted students at A-Level and studying for degree courses.

The museum is able to accept students at any age who wish to gain experience of voluntary work with museum collections. We are able to offer intensive periods of up to two weeks, or spread the placement over a number of weeks or months. We are currently only open during normal working hours, but are occasionally open in the evening or on Saturdays for events or booked groups.
