Proposed Extension of the George Marshall Medical Museum

 

The Museum and the University of Worcester are working together to develop a brand new museum exhibition within the former Worcester Royal Infirmary at Castle Street. Stories of local healthcare, including Powick Lunatic Asylum and community memories of the WRI, will be celebrated using collections currently hidden away in the Museum’s stores.  The exhibition will stimulate understanding about contemporary health issues, within the context of the beautiful Georgian Infirmary.
