The Museum held a successful Tudor open day in March 2008. We had over 150 visitors (a lot for our location!) and the museum was buzzing all day. The curator especially enjoyed dressing up in Tudor costume (see photo) and talking with the Tudor apothecary, Glo Pringle (www.thehistoryman.org.uk).

We also invited Sue and Barry of A Merrie Noyse (www.merrienoyse.com) along to perform as Tudor minstrels throughout the day. Children got a chance to play replicas of Tudor instruments and a lot of fun was had by all!
